Vicair Active O2 Wheelchair Cushion

The Vicair Active O2 Wheelchair Cushion is a pre-contoured cushion designed for optimal comfort, support, and skin protection. It consists of four individual compartments: the back compartments are filled with SmartCells, while the front features an anatomically contoured foam inlay. Together, this combination helps redistribute pressure, stabilise the pelvis, and facilitate easy transfers.

Moreover, the front SmartCell compartment prevents users from sliding forward, making the cushion ideal for those who require regular transfers. Each of the four SmartCell compartments is adjustable, allowing the cushion to be tailored to individual user needs.

SmartCell Design for Pressure Relief

The Active O2 Cushion is designed to protect high-risk areas such as the ischial and coccyx regions. By redistributing pressure, the cushion helps reduce the risk of skin breakdown while providing pelvic stability. In addition, the adjustable compartments make it easy to customise the cushion for comfort and performance.

Breathable, Hygienic, and Machine Washable

Like other Vicair cushions, the Active O2 is 100% machine washable and fully breathable. As a result, it provides optimal hygiene, moisture regulation, and temperature control, helping maintain healthy skin and comfort during extended periods of use.

Size and Weight

The Active O2 supports a maximum user weight of 200 kg and weighs approximately 725 g (depending on size). It is available in a standard range of sizes from 14 inches up to 24 inches. If you need a custom size, please contact us, as some sizes can be specially made and ordered in.

Cover Options

The cushion comes with one cover that serves as both the inner and outer cover, providing convenience and protection.
