Package FundingThe Redgum Deluxe Folding Transit Wheelchair is the perfect for users that are unable to operate a self propelled wheelchair and require a attendant to propel the wheelchair. This wheelchair is a push along design and is not self operated like the Redgum 20″ Jade Lightweight steel Wheelchair. Having an easy folding mechanism, it folds quite flat making it so easy to transport in most sized vehicles.
The lightweight aluminium construction allows it to have a total net weight of 10.5kgs to 13kgs depending on the chair size. The aluminium folding frame is powder coated in a deep marble red finish. This type of finish makes it easy to wipe down and keep clean, and harder to scratch. For added comfort, this lightweight transit wheelchair also features padded arm rests and a fold down back rest.
The solid 12″ rear tyres, and 8″ front rubber tyres make for a sturdy ride for the user. The wheelchair features attendant operated left and right hand brakes for use while in transit and lock off wheel hand brakes for when the chair is in a stationary mode. The seat and back rest areas are made from hard wearing and durable nylon upholstery. The swing away leg rests feature non skid/slip foot plates. As well as heel straps on the swing away foot rests, there is also a fitted adjustable seat belt and a storage is located on the back rest.
