The Icare ActiveX Pressure Care Overlay are designed to provide added pressure relief and comfort on an existing mattress. These mattress toppers feature the ActiveX material which is heat and pressure sensitive causing the overlay to soften around pressure points and inflamed areas. Around the pressure point, it will soften and allow the blood to circulate freely.

The iCare Mattress Overlay is made from an Elastex material cover which has a high elasticity in every direction, enabling an all-way contour on the body. It also features ventilated side fabric, which has high air permeability to increase air movement and is anti-bacterial. The overlays have a 10-year warranty, come in all the mattress sizes up to the queen, measure 5cm thick, and have a zip off washable cover making it super easy to wash when required. 

HIGH RISK – This rating is based on our average peak pressure of <18mmHg. The pressure redistribution and feel will vary depending on the under surface. Some high-risk clients may require a medical cover which is not available for this product. iCare risk category ratings are based on average peak pressure. The best way to access a client on a pressure-reducing surface is to monitor pressure points with visual checks over a period of 5 days.
