I was introduced to the forearm walker in Physio’ in hospital after fracturing my femur. As I have a rare disability called Inclusion Body Myositis (IMB) that collapses muscles in both arms and legs, the forearm walker gives me the support I need to walk. The standard walkers did not offer the support I needed as I have no strength in my arms to support my body weight. Great product and fits in my car for use outside the home.
